We have returned from the event, but we are still accepting donations to support Pulmonary Fibrosis.  We are accepting proposals from researchers for how the money can be best used to fight this disease.

Fundraiser for Pulmonary Fibrosis
August 1-20, 2023

100% of the Money Raised Benefited Pulmonary Fibrosis

In 2019, our father was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis, a devastating condition in which the lungs become scarred and breathing becomes increasingly difficult. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this disease. However, early detection brings hope to those affected by it.

With roots tracing back to 910 in Iceland, our family has a deep connection to this land. So, we decided to embark on a journey to bring visibility to this disease, raise money for research, and do something epic to remind people to live life to the fullest.

Our journey will take us along the edge of Iceland, tracing a route filled with unpredictable weather and diverse terrain - from two-lane roads to aggressive enduro trails - on underpowered scooters.

Christian recently completed a 530-mile test run around the Olympic Peninsula, and through the rainforest, and it was an amazing experience. Despite encountering both sun and heavy rain, he persevered and learned a lot about what gear to take on his upcoming trip to Iceland. Christian found that having the right set of gear can make all the difference in difficult weather conditions.
