Joel Johanneson set out on a global journey that soon revealed a deeper purpose. Traveling through some of the world’s most spiritual and meaningful places, he discovered that the path itself was calling him to do more than simply explore—it was inviting him to give back.

Soul Travels was born from that realization. Inspired by his father, Gerald Benedict Johanneson—a man who loved children and believed in lifting others up—Joel now dedicates his travels to supporting kids in need around the world. Each stop is an opportunity to honor his father’s legacy through compassion, presence, and practical help for the children who need it most.
